Our Story

Young Hands, Big Impact was founded by siblings Kabir and Mahi Dhanoa, inspired by firsthand experience serving communities in Punjab, India. Through their family’s efforts, they helped support two medical camps that provided screenings to 980 individuals—offering services such as mammograms, pap smears, PSA testing, eye exams, and more, along with essential medications and over 800 pairs of eyeglasses.

Building on this impact, they also helped facilitate the donation of a mammogram machine to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Charitable Hospital in Anandpur Sahib, Punjab. In its first six months of use, the machine has already screened over 300 women and led to the early diagnosis of five cases of breast cancer—demonstrating the life-saving power of access to preventive care.

Seeing the immediate impact of early detection and basic care, they recognized a simple truth: access to healthcare can change—and save—lives. They created this initiative to expand that impact beyond a single community, bringing preventive care to underserved populations across regions and borders.
